Business registration in Iraq is regulated according to the Iraqi Companies Law No. 21 for the year of 1997/amended, article 4/a stating that "The Company is a contract binding two or more persons. Each person shall subscribe to the economic project by a quota of the capital or service in order to share the resulting profit or loss."
